After BHS graduation, I attended Bowling Green State University for two years prior to my August 1966 marriage. My two wonderful children, Kim born in 1967 and Ed born in 1971 are both married. Kim has a 4 yr. old daughter, Megan, and is expecting another little girl in early May 2005.

When my 10 yr. marriage ended, I both returned to work as well as college to earn my BA. I married Roger in 1979 and expanded our ‘blended family’ with step-son Alex. Shortly after beginning our married life together, Roger and I built a family-oriented athletic club, The Bel Air Athletic Club, in Bel Air, MD which we owned and operated for 20 years. After 13 yrs. of working together, I entered graduate school to obtain a Masters in Social Work. In 1998, I established The Wellspring Center where I developed a private psychotherapy practice. The center was also ‘home’ to two other clinical social workers, an acupuncturist, a physical therapist and a massage therapist.

In 2003, three years after selling our athletic club, we moved to Maryland’s Eastern Shore. I currently have a small private practice here in Stevensville, MD and am volunteering at the DeCesaris Cancer Center in Annapolis, MD where I lead supports groups enhanced with Guided Imagery.
